Why is it that mobile/iPad annotations don't sync completely, while desktop to mobile does?
I read through my first pdf on my ipad using Mendeley. I made annotations and edited the notes field as well. When I synced my file, the file disappeared from the subfolder I kept it in. I checked in all documents, and it was still there (on the iPad version). However, a majority of the annotations disappeared as well. My notes field was still preserved however. When I checked the desktop version after syncing, the file was still in the sub folder. Notes were preserved, and the same amount of annotations were there.
After much attempts at syncing, nothing seemed to work. I made sure to sync attached files for each folder. Finally, when I removed the notes field information and left it blank, the file reappeared in the proper subfolder in my ipad version after syncing my desktop and iPad (in that order).
I added in the notes through the desktop version, and the file is still there.
