Line breaks removed from notes in iOS

If I make some notes about a reference in the iOS version all the line breaks are discarded after I hit 'back'. This severely limits the usefulness of this feature since longer notes cannot be structured into lines and paragraphs. On the linux desktop version I can save notes with line breaks, but I cannot edit these under iOS since all formatting will be lost. I'm using version 2.9.0 on iOS.
