Mendeley iPad app not properly sending data: author, notes, tags, etc.

I have erased and reinstalled Mendeley on my iPad 2 and after some further experimentation, I can only conclude that the app is not sending data properly. The sync works fine to the iPad, but if you try to add information to a record using the iPad app (like notes or tags or keywords), that information does not get uploaded to the web version. I did not forget to press the sync button. When I add a new record, it does sync, but the authors name gets lost. Am I the only one encountering this problem? Any chance this will be resolved?
